What could the future hold for Social Media and the DoD? Is it worth the risk?
In a recent blog post, we discussed the release of the new, social-media heavy DoD website. The goal for the redesign was to create two-way, personal communication with the American public, but some government officials are worried about the possible security risks associated with the heavy use of social networking sites.
A recent article in Federal Computer Week brings up government officials’ conflicted attitudes towards the DoD’s use of social networking. Is such active use of these sites too much of a risk?
