SGIS Recently Awarded Largest Contract in Company History
SGIS was recently awarded our largest contract in company history by the U.S. Army in support of Project Manager, Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (PM DCATS)
“This contract is an expansion of the support that SGIS provides to the U.S. Army and will allow us to continue helping them successfully achieve their missions,” said SGIS CEO Hany Girgis. “We are honored to be a part of such important initiatives for the U.S. Army and are committed to improving defense efforts in the United States and abroad.”
The work will be performed at Fort Bragg, NC and Fort Hood, TX, among other locations. The total contract is valued at over $130 Million.
The PM DCATS team manages a suite of more than 100 projects that supports joint Warfighters, major commands and combatant commanders worldwide. Projects include strategic satellite communications and wideband control systems, long-haul terrestrial microwave and fiber optic communications systems, tech control facilities, Combat Service Support Communications systems, critical power infrastructure, command center upgrades, base radios and combat vehicle intercom systems.
SGIS has teamed with Apptis, Inc. on this contract as the principle contractor. Under this contract, SGIS will provide engineering, integration, furnish, installation, testing and transition technology solutions for the shared PM DCATS customer base, among other services.

SGIS opens office in Fayetteville and announces Tampa expansion!
SGIS is happy to announce we have opened a new office in Fayetteville, North Carolina! The new location was chosen due to its proximity to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where SGIS is currently supporting several defense efforts.
We have also recently relocated to a larger office space in Tampa, Florida to accommodate our rapid growth. The new location enables SGIS to provide ongoing services and better support to current customers and contracts in the Tampa area, such as work in support of the Intelligence Information, Command and Control Equipment and Enhancements (ICE2) program for the United States Air Force.
