SGIS 2007 ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT IN SUPPORT OF THE SUSAN G. KOMEN BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION

SGIS, united with Rally for a Cure, held its annual Golf Tournament in support of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation on Friday, October 20, 2006 at the Reston National Golf Course in Reston, VA. The charity event was great fun and a huge success!

We are proud to announce that the tournament raised nearly $4,500 for the foundation! A total of 65 golfers competed for the championship title, and three 4-person teams were awarded with trophies and more importantly, bragging rights until next year. In the women’s category, the top award was for the longest drive, proving once again that women are equal to, if not better than men. No worries though, the men played fantastically as well!

Join us in our efforts with next year’s tournament: get involved through sponsorship or participating by contacting Susan Parr at sparr@sgis.com. Sponsorship is a great way for businesses to get publicity; this enables businesses to showcase their services and products to all participants, other sponsors and the community. This year’s donations included golf equipment, catering services, spa packages, restaurant certificates, travel opportunities, sports memorabilia, gym memberships, beauty products and many many more.

More details will be posted nearing next year’s tournament.
